Provenance
Many of the earliest blazers were broad stripes in the colors of clubs, colleges, and regiments. The word "blazer" in fact is named after the bright, "blazing" red jackets of one rowing club -- Lady Margaret Boat Club -- at Cambridge University, for whom we have the honor of making blazers today. This red and navy striped blazer is not the pattern of any existing rowing club, but it's one we like a lot. This Venetian wool-cotton blazer stripe is woven just for Rowing Blazers.
