Rowing Blazers for United Arrows & Sons (Poggy talks style and traditions)

Rowing Blazers has teamed up with Poggy and United Arrows & Sons for a heritage-meets-Harajuku blazer capsule.

The collaboration came out of Poggy's visit to Henley Royal Regatta last summer to see Rowing Blazers founder and U.S. Team rower Jack Carlson.

"Henley Royal Regatta was very fresh and inspiring to me," Poggy said. "In Japan, fashion magazines often talk about 'how to wear' or 'what to wear.' (For example, what kind of shirt to wear with a blazer). Which is not a bad thing. But at Henley, you see young guys wearing traditional blazers, old guys wearing wild colors; worn-out boater hats mixed with athletic gear. It's amazing and inspiring."

The lineup includes a special-edition Tiffany-blue blazer with white grosgrain trim; a navy kimono-style blazer (a quintessential Poggy item) with pink grosgrain trim; a colorful blazer in Rowing Blazers' signature croquet stripe; and a more understated navy blazer - all handmade in New York.
