Super heavyweight (400g / 14 oz.) navy blue rugby overshirt with beautifully embroidered thistle. Handmade in Europe. 100% cotton, knitted in the traditional 12 gauge style. Stunning material and craftsmanship. Feels incredible.

Size & Fit

More fitted than our dad rugbies and soccer shirts. We recommend sizing up for a looser fit.

Provenance

In December 1870, five Scottish football clubs invited English footballers to participate in a match played by the “Rugby Rules." A team from Blackheath accepted on behalf of England, and the first international rugby match was played on March 27th, 1871, at Raeburn Palace. Scotland won with a goal and a try to only one try by England. The first international try was scored by Angus Buchanan, and converted by W. Cross. In collaboration with Sports D'Epoque.
