The Authentic Original boat shoe features Rowing Blazers’ signature croquet stripe fabric, on the interior linings, the footbed, and across the eyelets. Designed by co-founder and national champion oarswoman Keziah Beall, this pattern is based on the more eccentric striped blazers seen at the Henley Royal Regatta and also on the colors seen in the game of croquet.

Provenance
"I’ve been wearing Sperrys since I was a kid. When I was in high school and college, all of the rowers used to wear Top-Siders down to the boathouse. It's a classic, nautical, American brand with a lot of tradition and a great history. But it's also a little quirky; it's youthful, fun, and inclusive. You see this in the old Sperry ads, and in more recent collaborations with Scott Sternberg's Band of Outsiders, Jack Spade, and Noah. It's an honor to join those ranks, and nothing could be more on-brand for Rowing Blazers, which also prides itself on being both authentic and irreverent. I'm a bit of a history nerd and I've been a bit of a Sperry fanboy for a long time too. I remember when the original Sperry Cloud logo came back. I’m one of those people that buys five pairs of the same shoe when I find something I like, and that’s what I did with the Cloud Seamates when they came out. (I was at Oxford at the time and had a massive box sent over from the U.S.). Navy blue canvas, natural canvas, and yellow canvas. Everything in this collaboration we've done is pretty classic, but also pretty fun. Classic American style is collegiate, and therefore both traditional and youthful. That duality to me is the single most defining characteristic of American men’s fashion, and that’s what I try to weave into everything we do - including this collaboration." - Jack
