From our friends at Artemis Design Co.--This shoe was originally designed by our designer, Milicent, for her own wedding day. She was looking for something for her fall wedding that would feel luxurious and special, but comfortable enough to dance all night in. She loved wearing the shoes and received so many compliments that we decided to make it available for all brides.

Details

Upper in 100% silk velvet, hand-loomed by a women's collective in Uzbekistan. Leather sole with 3/4 inch heel. Handmade in Istanbul in a small, family-owned workshop, by cobblers whose families have practiced the craft for generations.

Size & Fit

Our Women's Loafers run true to size. We only make full sizes, so if you wear a half size, order the next whole size down (for example, a US 8.5 should order a 38). Expect them to feel snug at first, but stretch to a cushy custom fit after time and wear. Our Women's Loafers tend to fit best on narrow to medium width feet, but do stretch beautifully width-wise to accommodate most widths--much like a fine leather shoe.
