From our friends at Artemis Design Co.--These ultra luxurious raw silk Ikat loafers are handmade by artisans in Uzbekistan and Turkey. The silk Ikat is hand-woven in small batches by a women's collective, making each collection extremely limited. We love to wear these as a comfortable alternative to more formal shoes, but they style just as well with a pair of jeans, a casual skirt, or shorts.

Details

Upper in 100% silk ikat, hand-loomed by a women's collective in Uzbekistan. Leather sole with 3/4 inch heel. Handmade in Istanbul in a small, family-owned workshop, by cobblers whose families have practiced the craft for generations.

Size & Fit

Women's Loafers run true to size. We only make full sizes, so if you wear a half size, order the next whole size down (for example, a US 8.5 should order a 38). Expect them to feel snug at first, but stretch to a cushy custom fit after time and wear. Our Women's Loafers tend to fit best on narrow to medium width feet, but do stretch beautifully width-wise to accommodate most widths--much like a fine leather shoe.
